  • 2 Exceldor chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ cup store-bought barbecue sauce
  • 1 box (454 g) macaroni
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  1. In a large ovenproof skillet over medium heat, fry the chicken in olive oil for 5-7 minutes until it is well cooked. Add the barbecue sauce and continue cooking for 2 minutes, then transfer to a plate and set aside.
  2. Meanwhile, bring a large cauldron of water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the directions on the packaging. Set aside.
  3. Preheat the oven to broil.
  4. In the skillet used to cook the chicken, melt the butter, then add the onion. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the onion is tender and translucent. Add the garlic and continue cooking for 1 minute. Season.
  5. Add the flour and mix well to coat the onion and garlic. While whisking, stir in the milk and continue cooking until the mixture begins to thicken slightly.
