  • Grain-fed chicken

    Exceldor chickens are fed with a blend of corn, soy and wheat grains, with added minerals and vitamins, to ensure that they receive a well-balanced diet. Exceldor is the first poultry enterprise in Québec to obtain third-party verification, recognized by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), for the diet of its birds.

    To preserve the freshness, colour and flavour of its chickens, the Co-operative was the first in North America to implement a unique air-chilling method instead of a water-chilling type.

    So that you can be sure of the freshness of the product you eat, we imprint the "Best before" date directly on the packaging at processing time at the plant.
