  1. In a skillet, fry bacon until crispy and golden. Set aside on a paper towel.
  2. In the same pan, sauté onions and bell peppers in olive oil until tender. 
  3. Add garlic and continue cooking 1 minute.
  4. Add turkey and continue cooking 1 to 2 minutes to heat up turkey.
  5. Add cream and cheese. Continue cooking 5 minutes or until thickened.
  6. Crumble the bacon and add it to the preparation. 
  7. Pour over pasta and garnish with parsley and chives.
Chef's tip

For a lighter version, replace the cream with grated pecorino—an Italian cheese made from ewe’s milk—and garnish with fresh ricotta and lemon zest just before serving.
