Savory cheesecake with smoked turkey

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Fill a bowl with cold water and add liquid smoke.
  3. Place turkey cubes in a sieve and immerse in liquid smoke for 10 seconds. Set aside.
  4. Mix together ricotta, egg, Parmesan, and thyme in a bowl.
  5. Season to taste and mix again.
  6. Add turkey cubes.
  7. Use a spoon to divide the mixture into small ovenproof bowls, then brush with olive oil.
  8. Bake in the oven about 25 minutes, or until the cakes are a golden color.
  9. Garnish bowls with sprigs of thyme and serve.
Chef's tip

You can make this recipe in advance and refrigerate the bowls. Then simply put them in the oven right before meal time and in minutes you’ll be enjoying these hot and savory cakes!
