Feeding our Chicken

Exceldor chicken meets the highest quality standards in the industry. The feed we use for our Exceldor grain-fed chickens must contain at least 80% vegetable grains. Exceldor chicken is an excellent source of protein that is also low in fat.

Exceldor plants are regulated by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and must meet all CFIA requirements. The Agency is always on-site at our plants with its veterinary and inspection teams.

What really distinguishes Exceldor brand chicken is our exclusive air chilling system—unique in Canada. Since there is no added water, the result is great-tasting chicken in a clean, dry package.
